Uniforms encourage students to focus on studies rather than clothes and reduce socioeconomic disparity. Uniforms have also shown to promote school unity and pride. GVA has adopted the following uniform policy to promote discipline, maintain order, secure the safety of students, and provide a healthy environment conducive to academic purposes.
All students must comply with GVA’s uniform policy.
Uniforms must be worn every day and failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
There are many affordable retail companies that sell school uniforms. These companies include (but are not limited to): Target, Walmart, Khols, and Old Navy. Download our Uniform Policy for detailed information.
Dress Down Day Policy
Dress down days will be designated days announced and determined by the school administration. On DRESS DOWN DAYS, students may wear casual clothing, such as jeans. Download our Dress Down Day Policy for detailed information.
or Polo Shirts
